Select Community Hub welcomes pitches that help readers understand participation, group practice, gatherings, shared spaces or continuity. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What to pitch
Propose one clear subject and explain the reader question it answers. Strong pitches stay within the publication's focus, offer a distinct angle and can be useful without relying on invented examples or unverified claims.
What to include
Use the Contact page to send a working title, a short summary, the main points you would cover and any relevant experience or material. Say whether the idea has appeared elsewhere or is being considered by another publication.
Before sending
Keep the proposal concise and specific. A pitch is not a promise of publication, and we may ask for clarification or changes before making a decision. Please do not send a complete article unless requested.
A group works best when more people can take part
Small choices matter: a clear invitation, a useful role and a handover that leaves the next person ready to begin.
